About Us

Common Grounds was founded in the Fall of 2014, in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. It was orginally established as a program of a non-profit called Common Ground Community Development. The goal of the program was to create and develop community within the city through entrepreneurship. After years of success and growth, it was time to make a transition from non-profit to stand-alone business. Common Grounds is now its own for-profit company owned by Justin Olive, Mike Olive and Kelly Olive. It now operates multiple retail locations in Palm Beach County and a roastery/wholesale division.

Our goal is to create spaces of common ground that engage the community through specialty coffee. This goal extends beyond our customers and guests, but for the people that are employed. Our employees are genuinely cared for, extensively trained, treated with dignity, and are encouraged to pursue their skills and passions. We have the opportunity to employ and serve over 30 current employees with these guiding principles. We have a passion for the coffee industry and strive to share that with as many people as possible. Our purpose is to simply Create Coffee and Community for all.
